INGREDIENTS | YIELD: 1 QUART
4 cups fresh blackberries 1 cup water
1 cup sugar
⅔ cup lime juice

Try a Pretty Little Lime Bowl
This tangy sorbet and its beautiful blackberry color make it perfect to serve in hollowed lime peels. Simply remove the insides of the lime, cut a small end off the bottom to level it, and freeze until ready to serve. The sorbet can then be spooned or piped into the frozen peels.

1. Wash the berries and combine with the water and sugar in a large saucepan over medium heat.
2. Stirring occasionally, cook the berries until soft and liquidized, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
3. Place berries in blender or food processor and add lime juice. Purée until smooth. Press through strainer to remove seeds, if desired. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
4. Add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
