Sparkling White Grape Sorbet

Try serving this decadent sorbet in a wine glass, topped with equal parts white wine. You’ll be the hit of any social event!

INGREDIENTS | YIELD: 1 QUART
4 pounds white grapes
¼ cup water
¼ cup corn syrup
¼ cup sparking white grape juice

Sparkling Grape Juice
Experiment! Instead of adding plain water to  your home made grape juice concentrate, consider using sparkling water. The fizz is intoxicating and fun!

1. Wash and halve the grapes, and combine with the water in large pot over medium heat.
2. Stirring occasionally, cook the grapes until soft and liquidized. Remove from heat.
3. Press the grapes through a mesh strainer to remove the seeds and skins.
4. Add the corn syrup and sparkling juice to the grape mixture, and chill in the refrigerator until cool.
5. Add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
